Stealth Products, LLC (Texas, USA) is a 25-year pioneer in the rehabilitation market, building head- and neck-positioning systems such as the Comfort Plus™ and Unilink™ Ultra, where precision is paramount.
The company’s only CMM — a Mitutoyo system running MCOSMOS on Windows 7 — suddenly ceased operations, threatening to interrupt quality control, compromise production timelines, and delay delivery of precision rehabilitation equipment.
EasyCMM partner Made to Measure Metrology (Illinois) proposed a Chameleon retrofit: a seamless upgrade to Windows 11, preservation of the existing MCOSMOS licence, and concurrent operation of legacy and modern measurement software — with minimal disruption.
The CMM was modernised from Windows 7 to 11 and now runs MCOSMOS and CMM-Manager in parallel, with zero compromise to quality control. Stealth avoided an expensive full machine replacement and gained a future-ready measurement platform — all within two days.
